CHICKEN AND BACON QUICHE



Sin Free - Red)


Ingredients :
4-5oz Lean Bacon
2 thighs or 1 chicken breast
3 eggs
8oz v.l.f. cottage cheese
Seasoning to taste

Method :
Slightly grill the bacon and chop it up.
Chop the chicken into bite size pieces and using Fry light, fry them.
Beat the eggs and add the cottage cheese, then add the bacon and chicken.
Mix everything together and pour into a Flan dish.
Cook in a preheated oven at 200oC, 4000F or Gas Mark 6 for 15 minutes
(ensuring the chicken is cooked through).

  3. Not if it's syn free which this appears to be. You could make your own pastry base, but you'd have syn the flour, butter etc....

  4. I did think that too, about the base i mean. The picture definately has a base.

    1. I think this is a crustless quiche. What looks like a base is just the way that the quiche has settled back in the dish after it has cooled.

  6. use very thin sliced sweet potato as base , its syn free

  7. It also looks like it has broccoli or something in it which isn't in the list of ingedients so maybe the picture is not of this quiche!

  8. Also nice with a normal potato base – grate and cold wash 4 medium potatoes, squeeze the excess water out and then press into the bottom of the quiche dish and bake for around 30 minutes before adding the filling
